![]() I've been in one in florida too, called the haunted castle, the one in florida is open year round I think. I think it's 16, and I've been to one in Columbus(3 hr drive) to terror park. ![]() I've been in every haunted house around here. My name is Steven, I live in Cincinnati, its about a 5 hour drive. I know everyone here can't trust one review, but I think this is one to trust. If you don't mind the drive to Sandusky or are planning to go to Halloweekends at Cedar Point, just check out Ghostly Manor. And there is a room full of body bags that is just freaky. There were monsters popping out of the woodwork, and there was a shock or surprise in every room. You can tell by the special effects.there was a great deal o money put into Ghostly Manor. This is not one of those cheap haunts with 15 year olds running around with Jason masks. It was fantastic! The house is fairly large, so it takes you a while to get through it. The actors went into the house to get ready for my buddy and I and then we went inside. My main thought was that this was gonna be a waste of time. The place was empty, except for the actors who were roller skating. It was around 9:30 on a slow September Friday, so we assumed the house would be fairly empty( it's located inside a roller rink). We pulled into the parking and saw the hearse that advertised the house, but the parking lot was pretty empty. Last year, my buddy and I rode out to Ghostly Manor to check it out. Let me tell you why this location should be on your haunted house list. If it wasn't for the permanent attraction called Nightmares Fear Factory in Niagara Falls, the Manor would easily be # 1. Since '92, I've been to at least 20 different haunted attractions in Northern Ohio and Niagara Falls, and without a doubt, Ghostly Manor is in my top two or three. I consider myself a haunted house expert.
